President's Dinner Dance - November 2009
Members and Guests Enjoy a Splendid Evening66 members and guests attended the 2009 Loughborough Chamber of Trade and Commerce President's Dinner Dance at the Carillon Rooms. Event organiser, Pat Brookes, had selected a Black and Gold theme for the room which looked very welcoming as guests arrived to be greeted by Chamber President, Paul Fileman.
In a short speech, Mr Fileman thanked everbody for supporting the event. He went on to describe 2009 as an interesting year with hopes for a prosperous 2010 for Loughborough Businesses.
Members and guests raised £136 in a "Charity Roll-Up" with the money raised to be donated to charities in Loughborough - including Rainbows. Winners of the Roll-Up were Mike Jones and Clare Baum.
Dancing to Jacki Lee continued until late in the evening.
Commenting on the event, Pat Brookes said: "We have had a lot of excellent comments from everyone who thoroughly enjoyed the evening - and many compliments to Chris the chef for an excellent meal - I felt it was best one yet!!"
